A 12-year-old girl was threatened with kidnap by armed robbers at her Co Tyrone home last night.
Two masked men burst into her family's house at Cullenramer Road in Dungannon at around 9.30 p.m. and demanded cash.
The 12 year-old's parents and a relative were held at gunpoint while two younger boys were asleep in another room.
The woman was taken outside while the girl's father was instructed to get what the raiders believed was a substantial amount of cash kept in the house. But police arrived and the raiders fled. Officers chased them and arrested a man.

Later, a second man was arrested after a search of house in which an amount of cash was recovered.
