American business tycoon Malcolm Glazer has launched another raid on Manchester United today.
Glazer, who on Friday splashed out £45 million to increase his stake in the Old Trafford club to 25.3 percent, today bought another six million shares, worth £17 million, offering a further indication that he is not about to back down from his desire to take control.
The owner of the Tamp Bay Buccaneers NFL franchise now owns 27.63 percent of United, although this is still slightly less than the 28.9 percent stake of major shareholders John Magnier and JP McManus, who it was confirmed on Friday had broken off discussions with Glazer.
