The Department of Foreign Affairs has warned Irish travellers to "exercise caution" when visiting Morocco after terrorist attacks killed 41 people last week.
In a statement, the Department said citizens should be aware of the possibility of such attacks and remain vigilant at all times.
"Where possible, large gatherings should be avoided, and particularly caution should be exercised in public places which are frequented by foreigners, including airports, hotels, restaurants and shopping areas," the statement said.
Five suicide bombs last Friday targeted Jewish and Spanish sites in Casablanca. The dead included three French nationals, three Spaniards and an Italian.
