Sinn Fein warned the Government today it should be prepared for a No vote in Thursday’s referendum on the Nice Treaty.
Speaking at a press conference Dublin City councillor Mr Sean Crowe said the polls giving the Yes vote a big lead had got it wrong.
Mr Crowe said there was no feedback on the doorsteps of a positive vote.
He said the Yes camp had run a disorganised and in some cases a non- existent campaign.
He said his party had won doorstep campaign and was confident of a strong No vote.
The Party’s representative for Dublin South Central, Mr Aengus O’Snodaigh, said the Taoiseach’s "wild allegations" about the No to Nice campaign were evidence of the growing panic in the Yes camp.
Mr O’Snodaigh said he was confident the Irish electorate would not be railroaded into endorsing this "flawed" Treaty.
He said public confusion over the issue was as pronounced as it had been at the beginning of the campaign and he urged people to vote no it they were unsure.
