The Garda Representative Association has rejected a report that gardai have been offered a "catch-up" and productivity pay deal of 1213 per cent at a cost to the State of an extra £40 million.
A GRA statement yesterday said: "No such offer has been made to the GRA, either formally or informally, at any level. This report is attributed to `Government sources' and it is now strongly urged that those responsible for this misinformation have it publicly rejected."
