QUAKE is back. Here we have 35 extra levels crammed into three all new episodes, which also includes some for death match scenarios. If you have access to the Internet, you may have downloaded some add on levels, but the beauty of Q!zone is that they are not just a bunch of addons you have to launch individually - when you crank one up, you get the whole episode, not just one level, so you feel you are actually playing a whole game, as opposed to just checking out a level to see what it looks like.
But the mayhem that is Q!Zone doesn't just end there, it goes further. The rather primitive nailgun has been replaced by a menacing weapon which hurtles star shaped metal projectiles at the unsuspecting enemy.
And for even more variety, Q!Zone has four new monsters for you to grapple with, rather unimaginatively named Headless, Nuker, Flyer and Snapper.
With an extensive map and level manager Q!Zone could prove to be a welcome addition to your library - even if you have access to the Internet - and help you access those add ons a lot more easily. Happy hunting!
