Galway Simon Community is reporting keen interest in its China Challenge, a nine-day hike along the Great Wall of China from October 28th to November 4th. Proceeds from the sponsorship raised will go towards providing residential care for formerly homeless people, and supporting campaigns for the rights of the homeless.

Richard Lewis, The Design Lodge, Annette Gortz, Louise Kennedy and Lainey Keogh are some of the designer labels on show at a fundraising event hosted by the West of Ireland Leukaemia Trust the week after next. The trust aims to support cancer patients in the western region.
