A suspected key member of the Greek guerrilla group November 17th has turned himself in to police, a Greek newsagency is reporting.
Police, who have been seeking Mr Dimitris Koufontinas for more than two months, have not yet confirmed the report.
Mr Koufontinas (44) is thought to be the group's chief operative and is suspected of having taken part in most of the group's actions between 1975 and 2000, when 23 people were killed - mainly in bomb attacks.
A warrant for his arrest was issued on July 15th, a month after the arrest of a first suspected member of the group, which led to breakthroughs that effectively put the group out of action, police said.
