If you happened to stray into Annabel's Nite Club (incidentally, when will they learn the correct spelling?) on Tuesday evening you could have been forgiven for thinking you'd slipped into some sort of X-Files time warp. Flares and bat-winged collars abounded as RTE broadcaster Des Cahill, along with a host of other 2FM DJs took to the floor for Dessie's Disco.
Des was using the disco to raise money for a sponsored walk across America in aid of the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust, that will take place in October. Folk from 2FM getting down included Ian Dempsey, Gerry Ryan, Simon Young and Tony Fenton, while Aidan Doyle from the Burlington, exEurovisionary Paul Harrington and Polygram's Paul Keogh were also getting groovy for a good cause.
