Halmstad boss Tom Prahl believes Bohemians's style of play makes the Dublin club dangerous opponents in tomorrow's Champions League second-round qualifying clash.

The Swedish champions have struggled this season and Prahl, who watched Bohemians beat Levadia Maardu 3-0 on aggregate in the first round, warned: "They're better than I thought and above all else they're clever footballers.

"They don't play in a typically British way, with long balls and a lot of passes back to the goalkeeper. They play out wide a lot, and they're good at keeping the ball within the team for long periods."

He told Halmstad's official website, www.halmstadsbk.se: "If we give the ball away we're really going to have to chase the game."They are a good team, but we have a chance," said Prahl.

Halmstad, who flew to Dublin this morning with an 18-man squad, will play Swedish international Stefan Selakovic up front. The 24-year-old hitman's 10 goals last season made him top-scorer.

Even though the club have struggled in the league this year, he has netted seven goals in 14 games, including one in Saturday's 3-0 win over Orebro.

"Maybe they're not as quick when playing deep and they've not been tested at the back.

"We have to lift ourselves and we can do it."
