Steve Harmison continued his amazing tour of the Caribbean by claiming three wickets in eight balls shortly before lunch to halt West Indies' stunning response to their Sabina Park humiliation in the second Test in Trinidad today.
Dismissed for a lowly 47, the lowest score in their Test history, only five days ago, West Indies stunned the tourists by hammering 21 fours and a six during the morning session at the Queen's Park Oval.
But after a century opening partnership between Chris Gayle and Devon Smith, both fell in successive overs to Durham fast bowler Harmison, man-of-the-match in Jamaica following his incredible spell of seven for 12.
And captain Brian Lara followed soon after without scoring to leave West Indies 110 for three at lunch on the opening day.
Elsewhere, opening batsman Yasir Hameed helped steer Pakistan to a four-wicket win over India in the third match of their historic one-day international series in Peshawar.
The hosts now take a 2-1 lead in the series with Yasir's contribution of 98 runs in front of his home crowd also earning him the man of the match award.
India had earlier set a target of 245, thanks in part to a score of 65 from Yuvraj Singh, but it proved to be more than achievable for Pakistan who reached the total with almost three overs to spare.
