Australian lock Justin Harrison and South African prop Faan Rautenbach escaped suspension today after the SANZAR judiciary investigated incidents from Saturday's Tri-Nations rugby match at the Gabba.

The three-man panel decided that Harrison's incident was dealt with on the field when he was sent to the sin bin by English referee Steve Lander during a brawl in the 32nd minute.

Rautenbach was also let off even though his record will now include a retrospective yellow card for his part in the brawl.

The Springboks wanted Wallaby winger Ben Tune to appear before the judiciary for an alleged punch on South African captain Corne Krige but the citing commissioner, Dave Grey, deemed Tune had no case to answer.

Krige said the alleged punch cut the inside of his cornea. He was replaced late in the first half with blood streaming from the eye injury sustained in a melee.

The Wallabies won the game 38-27.
