A nationwide campaign, "Each One Reach One", takes place this week to encourage people with a learning disability to become involved in the Special Olympics. Sponsor Telecom Eireann is making a freephone hotline 1800 827827 available during the week. In addition a mobile information unit will be travelling throughout the country providing information on ways that new athletes, their families and volunteers can become involved in the programme.
A charity recital by the Prism Ensemble will take place in the Bank of Ireland Arts Centre, Foster Place, Dublin 2 tomorrow at 8 p.m. with proceeds to the Irish Diabetic Association.
