Public lecture:Why do people get multiple sclerosis? is the question to be answered at the next Biomedical Frontiers public lecture tomorrow at 6.30pm.It will be given by Prof Jean Fletcher in the Stanley Quek Theatre, School of Biochemistry Immunology, Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Pearse Street, Dublin. Legal seminar:The Medico-Legal Society of Ireland is hosting a seminar on The Doctor as Witness on Saturday, January 26th in the Four Courts, Dublin.

Hypnobirthing:Learning how to deal with fear of labour pain can be as valuable as learning how to cope with the pain itself.
Hypnobirthing classes aim to help women cope better in labour by learning in advance specific relaxation, self-hypnosis and breathing techniques.
Hypnotherapist Aisling Killoran will lead a series of four hypnobirthing classes for couples, starting on Saturday, January 26th in the Stillorgan Park Hotel, Dublin.
