If you do one thing this week....shake up your account
If you do the same workout regularly, are you getting bored?
Physical activity is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, but repeating the same routines over and over might leave you feeling a little less than motivated.
So this week how about making a change? If you normally do a stint on a treadmill, perhaps try taking your walk or run outside in the fresh air. If you already run outside, change your route.
If you have worn a groove around the same constellation of gym equipment, how about getting to know some machines outside your usual repertoire? Or sign up for some classes you have been meaning to do, such as Zumba, bootcamp or Pilates.
Even changing the songs on your workout playlist could inject a bit of novelty into your exercise routine. A change is as good as a rest, but this way you are still working out.
