Trinity College Dublin will host its first three-day summer school for deaf and hard of hearing students entering third level education from tomorrow.
During the three-day event, students will be given advice on dealing with third level and information on student life, clubs and grants in a series of workshops, presented in both English and Irish sign language, are aimed at providing students with ways of dealing with the challenges of third level education. In addition, existing deaf and hard of hearing Trinity students will give accounts of their own experiences.

• Families are being offered a chance to try out new health approaches at the Dalkey Health and Family Expo on Saturday, September 3rd.
Visitors to the Expo will be able to sample the range of health and holistic treatments on offer, from iridology and head-hair therapy to fitness centres and flotation tanks.
For children, there will also be face painting, live music and "foodie" storytelling with RTÉ's Ryan Tubridy and Mary Kingston.
Dalkey Health and Family Expo 2005 will take place at St Patrick's School, Harbour Road, Dalkey, from 10am to 5pm.
