IRON OVERLOAD: Haemochromatosis is a hereditary disorder caused by an overload of iron in the body.
Its symptoms include chronic fatigue, joint pain, diabetes, loss of sex drive and an irregular heart beat. The Irish Haemochromatosis Association (IHA) is holding a series of free public meetings to alert people to this common but under-diagnosed disorder.
