EXCESS IRON:Haemochromatosis is a genetic disorder which results in excessive storage of iron in the body. Public information meetings explaining the disorder and treatment options have been organised by the Irish Haemochromatosis Association in various venues in the following weeks.

PSORIASIS CONFERENCE:The Psoriasis Association of Ireland is holding its fourth annual conference on Saturday from 10am-3pm in the Imperial Hotel, South Mall, Cork city.
Speakers at the conference include Dr Colin Buckley, consultant dermatologist at Waterford Regional Hospital, Cork GP Dr Hilda Fennell O'Shea and dermatology nurse Breda Burke.
