CARERS' EVENINGS:Cabra Library, on the Navan Road, Dublin, is hosting a series of information evenings for carers. Stress management is the theme of this week's talk on Thursday at 6.30pm.

ORGANIC WEEK:National Organic Week began yesterday and events and tastings will take place throughout the week. A highlight of this year's programme is A Taste of Organic Living at The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim on Monday, October 29th from 11am to 6pm.

NUTRITION AND AUTISM:The role of nutrition in managing autism is the theme of a series of seminars run by the Institute of Complementary & Integrated Medicine next month. Nutritional therapist Suzanne Laurie will speak about how many autistic children suffer from chronic bowel problems and how different diets (including gluten- and casein-free diets) can help some.
The seminars will take place in the Clarion Hotel, Cork on Sunday, November 4th; in the Courtyard Marriott, Headford Road, Galway on Saturday, November 10th and in the Alexander Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin on Sunday, November 11th.
