Last Wednesday evening, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern officially opened the redevelopment of Arnotts in Dublin. After extensive work, it has now become Ireland's largest department store with entrances on three of the capital's busiest thoroughfares: Henry Street, Abbey Street and Liffey Street. A store for all the family, Arnotts stocks the most comprehensive selection of merchandise possible.
There is womenswear from labels such as Regine, Principles, Morgan, Laura Ashley and Lipsy as well as well-known names for men including John Rocha Jeans, Jaeger, Magee, Hugo Boss, Urban Stone and Daniel Hechter. Children's clothing runs from Ladybird and Oz to Benetton, Adams and Peppermint Rock. In addition, the store has fashion footwear and a sports shop catering to the needs of professionals and amateur enthusiasts alike. The new-look Arnotts also offers furniture from O'Hagan Design, Ercol and Ligne Roset and Ducal, no less than four restaurants, a children's playroom/creche, a car park, a chiropodist, Kodak Express film service, interior design and wedding list services and, opening shortly, the ICS Mortgage Store.
Now that Arnotts has been revamped, it is your turn to do the same in time for Christmas. We are offering one reader the opportunity to win £1,500 of merchandise from the department store. A stylist from Arnotts will be on hand to assist you with the make-over and your photograph will subsequently appear in The Irish Times. All you have to do to enter this competition is answer the question below, complete the tie-breaker and send your completed entry form(s) by post only to Arnotts Competition, The Promotions Department, The Irish Times, 10-16 D'Olier Street, Dublin 2.
