Three people were killed when a helicopter crashed in the garden of a restaurant in southern France today, emergency services said.
All victims had been in a garden near the village of Salin-de-Giraud in the southern Camargue region at the time of the crash, the services said.
"The helicopter's pilot and its three passengers are unharmed," a spokesman for the emergence services said.
"Unfortunately, we have three deaths to deplore on the ground," he said, adding a fourth person had been seriously injured. It was not clear what had caused the accident.
