Thierry Henry could face UEFA sanctions over his amazing public show of frustration at the end of the Gunners' latest European defeat.
Henry admitted he "went mad", roaring at Panathinaikos defender Jan Michaelsen, referee Manuelo Melo Pereira and even the Greek police at the end of the 1-0 loss.
Finally it was manager Arsene Wenger who dragged him away to the dressing rooms.
Henry said: "I've never lost it like that before. At the final whistle I can normally accept defeat and get on with planning for the next match, but this was just too much. It was their attitude that made me go mad.
"I got the ball on the halfway line once and a guy came in with two feet towards my knee. I jumped out of the way when I could have gone down on the pitch crying but whenever we tackled them they were falling all over the pitch and looking like they were really injured," he said.
"That's not the game of football for me. I get kicked at Highbury and I just jump up and get on with it, but the team we played in Greece had a disgraceful attitude".
Even if Arsenal beat Panathinaikos at Highbury on October 16th, it is unlikely to be enough to take then through to the second round in the Champions League.
They have already lost their first two away games in Group C, making it six defeats in their last seven European trips.
