Drugs with a potential street value of €150,000 have been seized in Limerick.
In a joint operation conducted by Revenue's Customs Service and gardaí yesterday, 12 kilograms of herbal cannabis were found in an apartment in the Ballysimon.
A Fijian woman (30) and a Togolese man (32) were arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
They are being held in Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick city. The drugs arrived in a parcel from South Africa at an An Post parcel depot in Portlaoise.
