Waterlogged tracks have forced the abandonment of this afternoon's National Hunt meetings in Britain at Hereford and Kelso.
Officials inspected the Hereford track this morning after more than 9 mm of rain fell since 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Clerk of the course Jason Loosemore said: "It's waterlogged and unfit for racing. It's still raining now and the forecast is for further rain throughout the day".
Kelso was called off soon after. The decision was made after 6 mm of rain fell overnight on ground already described as heavy.
