E-business projects were the main winners at the fifth Golden Spider Awards at the RDS in Dublin, this evening, with online estates agents, myhome.ie. winning in three categories, including the sponsors award.
Myhome.ie. also received awards in the 'Best Use of the Internet by an SME (small-medium enterprise)’ and the 'Marketing Excellence' categories.
Sponsored by EsatBusiness and organised by dot.iemagazine, this year there were 18 categories, reflecting what the organisers termed, the increasing diversity of the Internet.
Recruitment specialists topjobs.ie landed two awards, winning both the ‘Best Recruitment Site’ and the ‘Best E-business Site’ awards. Mr Michael O’Leary of ryanair.com, a site which last year won three awards, was recognised in the ‘Most Significant Contribution to the Internet’.
Nebula were named 'Web Design/Development Agency of the Year', while dot.ie'sreaders voted Boards.ie as their favourite site.
ireland.com won the award in the information excellence category, while the prize for best financial site went to goodbody.ie.
