Beef Or Salmon remains on course to have another crack at the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup after pleasing connections in his work last week.
Michael Hourigan's charge has not raced since finishing third to Best Mate in the Ericsson Chase at Leopardstown in December, and is overcoming a muscular problem that ruled him out of the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup.
"He is coming along fine and did a good piece of work at Thurles last week," said Hourigan. "He'll go straight to Cheltenham now, but will have another good gallop beforehand.
"The most important thing is just to keep him sound for the next couple of weeks."

The eight-year-old fell at the third fence in last year's blue riband and is a general 14-1 shot for the March 18th showpiece.
