The leading US Federal Bureauof Investigation agent in Baghdad said today humanremains had been found in the truck used to bomb the UnitedNations headquarters, suggesting it was a suicide attack.
"We speculate that it was a suicide bomb, merely because wehave found in the midst of the truck wreckage human remains,"Special Agent Mr Thomas Fuentes told reporters.
Mr Fuentes said the bomb had consisted of up to 1,500 lb (680kg) of explosive, which had detonated other munitions alsoloaded on the truck, including Soviet-era artillery and mortarshells.
Yesterday's bombing killed at least 20 people, including thetop UN envoy to Iraq, Sergio Vieira de Mello, and wounded morethan 100.
