David Humphreys will be available for Ulster's Celtic Cup final meeting with Edinburgh after being released from the Ireland training squad due to leave for Lanzarote tomorrow.
Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan had already released six Ulster players for the final next Saturday but had delayed making a decision on Humphreys involvement.
The 30-man squad will depart Dublin for Lanzarote tomorrow for seven days of fitness and conditioning work as O'Sullivan starts to build for the Six Nations.
Meanwhile, Ulster coach Alan Solomons will name his side for the final on Tuesday.
