London - Sixteen asylum seekers arrived in London hiding under the floor of a high-speed Eurostar train from Paris, a spokesman for the company said yesterday.
The group - nine children aged three to 15, five women and two men all thought to be Eastern Europeans were discovered after passengers reported banging from under the floor when the train arrived at Waterloo station. A police spokesman said they were in good health but glad to emerge from the train's cramped undercarriage.
