Nevin takes court action
Catherine Nevin has initiated legal proceedings aimed at having the DPP or Garda Commissioner disclose whether the three men who gave evidence for the prosecution at her trial were State informers.
The application is part of Nevin's bid to have her conviction overturned.
Nevin (55) was jailed for life following her conviction in April 2000 of the murder of her husband Tom at their pub, Jack White's Inn, Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow.
An appeal against that conviction was subsequently rejected.
Mr Justice Adrian Hardiman yesterday adjourned the case to mid-November.
