New Delhi - India announced yesterday it would extend credit of five billion rupees ($100 million) to any broad-based government set up in Afghanistan after the removal of the Taliban regime.
The credit would be available for post-conflict reconstruction and rehabilitation in the war-ravaged country, Indian Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh said.
