London - The US military commander in the Asia-Pacific region expressed concern yesterday about the crisis in Indonesia and said his forces were doing all they could to help stabilise the country. Admiral Joseph Prueher, commander-in-chief of the US Pacific Command, also said it was uncertain whether Washington could build a stable long-term military relationship with China. Hundreds of people rioted across Indonesia in anger at rising prices, officials said yesterday, as the economic crisis increased the suffering of its 200 million people.
