Indonesian police are today searching for clues in the bombing of a cafe in a remotetown that killed four people. Police said it was too early to sayif religious militants were to blame.
Three people were also wounded in the blastin a karaoke cafe in Palopo on Sulawesi island, parts of whichhave been rocked by sporadic bloody clashes between Christiansand Muslims in recent years.
Investigators had questioned 15 witnesses, Palopo policesaid. The town was calm today with shops open and roadsbusy as usual.
Indonesia, a sprawling archipelago and the world's mostpopulous Muslim country, has been hit by a spate of bombings inrecent years.
