Inevitably, Tiger Woods hit the front after the third round of the Masters today. A four-under par 68 was enough to take Woods to the top of the leaderboard on 12-under, one shot ahead of Phil Mickelson who shot a three-under 69.
Overnight leader Chris DiMarco hit a level par 72 and shares third place on 10-under with Mark Calcavecchia who fired a four-under par 68.
Disappointing double bogies on the 16th and 18th dropped Darren Clarke back to five-under where he started the day, while fellow countryman Padraig Harrington also shot a level par 72 to remain on level par for the tournament.
