The RUC was last night investigating a petrol bomb attack on a home in East Belfast.
At around 9 p.m. a device was thrown through the front room window of a house in the Cregagh Road area of the city. Nobody was injured, but the building sustained smoke damage.
Meanwhile, British army bomb disposal experts were called in to deal with a suspicious package in a house in Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh, at lunchtime yesterday.
Parts of the package were taken away for forensic examination.
