THE broadcasting of bomb making instructions on the Internet was condemned by the Northern Ireland Office yesterday. The information is understood to have been transmitted from a web site in Chicago.
It lists ingredients for home made nail bombs, "explains how to use a petrol bomb "to maximum effect", and provides blueprints for pipe bombs.
The Northern Ireland Office said yesterday it was "deplorable that such material is available." Action on the problem was a matter for the RUC, it said. However, politicians claimed it was a matter for governments.
The Ulster Unionist Party security spokesman, Mr Ken Maginnis, said: "We should be seeking to have some constraints placed on those transmitting it by the relevant state."
