Internships are now available with a housing charity under the Government’s JobBridge scheme.
Nine-month placements in human resources, education, mental health, environmental awareness and working with the elderly are being offered by the Respond! housing association. Many of the placements are in Waterford city.
Spokeswoman Aoife Walsh said jobseekers can benefit from their exposure to the work done by the charity, and she hopes they will bring fresh ideas.
