Irish software firm Iona Technologies reported record first-half revenues of $42.7 million compared to $30.7 million a year earlier.
Chief executive Mr Barry Morris said: "Iona's business is strong and our strategy for Total Business Integration is resonating throughout our customer-base and gaining momentum industry wide.
"The changes in the economy have caused organisations to examine their IT priorities, creating a focus on integration projects that reduce costs, shrink business cycles and leverage their existing IT investments." he said.
In February Iona unveiled its biggest acquisition to date, the euro 298.6 million takeover of Californian business-to-business software group Netfish Technologies.
This transaction is expected to close the week of May 7th, 2001.
