Ireland made an electric start in today's one-day international against Zimbabwe in Belfast.
The visitors, still reeling from their recent Test batterings at the hands of England, were rocked within the first four overs as they slumped to 12 for three.
Zimbabwe have since moved to 134 for six off 39 overs.
Paul Mooney was the instigator early on at Stormont, taking the wickets of Douglas Marillier for a duck and dismissing Charles Coventry for just four runs.
Richard Sims also went for a duck when he was caught by Ireland captain Jason Mollins, with Glen Neilly claiming the wicket.
Ervine became the third Zimbabwean to depart for a duck when he was run out and were it not for a half-century from Dion Ebrahim the visitors would be virtually dead and buried.
