A man in his 30s died after getting into difficulties off the coast of Waterford on Sunday.
Gardai said the man had been diving at Ardmore, Co Waterford.
Gardai, the Coast Guard and emergency services were called to the scene at about 5pm on Sunday evening.
The man was later pronounced dead and the body was taken to Waterford University Hospital.

Gardai said that investigations were continuing and a post mortem will be held.
