Motorcyclist dies after crash in Co Dublin

A male motorcyclist in his 30s was killed when he crashed into a pole in Finglas on Sunday afternoon.

The man was involved in the collision at Dunsink Park, Finglas at approximately 3pm. An ambulance and paramedics rushed to the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, where he later died.

Garda forensic investigators attended the scene of the incident. The road was temporarily closed and diversions put in place.

Reports that paramedics found a gun at the scene could not be confirmed last night by gardaí.
