Ten units of Dublin Fire Brigade have responded to a fire at an industrial unit in Dublin.

The blaze was reported at a 30,000 square foot premises at the Santry Hall Industrial Estate at just before 5pm this evening.

Fire officers said the cause of the fire is as yet unknown but it was brought under control about an hour and a half after emergency services received the call.

Heavy smoke was reported in the area which caused some disruption to local traffic. Gardai said that traffic flow was poor in the area as a result.
