Irish Ferries has taken delivery of the world's largest car ferry, the Ulysses, the company said today.
Built in Finland at a cost of euro 100 million, the vessel has 4.1 kilometres (2.6 miles) of deck space for trucks and cars and can hold 2,000 people.
The vessel is scheduled to arrive into Dublin on March 4th and enter service on the Dublin/Holyhead route in about a month's time.
