The Irish Times has won the award for Best Printed National Newspaper at the Irish Print Awards. Pressroom Manager, Mr Freddie Snowe, accepted the award on behalf of The Irish Times last night
in the Berkeley Court Hotel in Dublin. People Newspapers won the award for Best Printed Provincial Newspaper for its printing of the Wicklow People. Nicholson and Bass were awarded Printer of the Year for The 1798 Rebellion, while the award for Digital Print was won by Cahill Printers, Dublin. Mr Sean Galavan was enrolled in the Irish Printers Hall of Fame for his work at the Printers' Museum. The Best Printed magazine award went to Lipho Universal in Bray for Image magazine.
