Phi Phi Island, Thailand - The star of the film Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio, will start shooting his new film today after the failure of legal attempts by villagers to evict the producers, 20th Century Fox, from their island.
The film, The Beach, provoked outrage from villages and local authorities who claim the shoot will destroy the pictureque Maya beach in southern Phi Phi Island national park.
