An Israeli newspaper office was evacuated today after it received two suspicious letters.
One of the letters contained white powder, Israeli police said, raising concerns cases of anthrax similar to those in the US may be spreading.
Hazardous materials experts rushed to the Maariv newspaper offices in Jerusalem to examine the contents of the letters and check the building, police said.
Israeli biological weapons experts are testing more than a dozen letters received in recent days.
