Israeli tanks and infantry units made two incursions into the south of Gaza City overnight, Palestinian sources said today.
A dozen armoured cars moved several hundred metres into the El Zahara quarter, and another unit rolled into Sheikh Jahlin.
Elsewhere, Israeli forces blew up the home of a Palestinian activist in a zone under their control in the south of Gaza City.
