Jerusalem - The Israeli Prime Minister, Mr Benjamin Netanyahu, held discussions with senior cabinet ministers yesterday on future borders of the West Bank ahead of a meeting with the US Secretary of State, Ms Madeleine Albright.
Ms Albright is to meet Mr Netanyahu in Paris tomorrow and the Palestinian President, Mr Yasser Arafat, in Geneva on Saturday in her second attempt in three weeks to break an impasse in the Middle East peace process.
The Israeli cabinet could vote as early as Sunday on a plan which Israeli media reports said was likely to offer the PLO a further 6 to 8 per cent of the West Bank.
