Assets of ITV Digital, the failed pay-TV venture of Carlton Communications and Granada, will be up for sale next month, administrator Deloitte & Touche said today.
Once done, the company will be liquidated in October, it added.
The auction, scheduled on Sept 4th and 5th, "marks the last stage of the ITV Digital administration prior to the company being placed into liquidation," administrator Nick Dargan said.
"We are currently taking steps in consultation with the Creditors' Committee to place the company into liquidation which we anticipate will take place in October," he said.
"There have been substantial asset realisations to date and we hope the sale proceeds of the auction will further enhance the funds available for creditors generally," he added.
Assets to be offered in the auction - which will be managed by Wyles Hardy & Co in conjunction with DoveBid - include contents of the company's digital broadcast centre, head office and disaster recovery facility.
