Ford Motor's luxury brand Jaguar confirmed today it will cut 1,150 jobs at it main plant in Coventry, England, under a reorganisation of the loss-making division.
In a brief statement, which confirms an earlier Reuters story, Jaguar said it would keep 310 jobs at the Brown's Lane plant, move 425 staff to another Jaguar plant in Castle Bromwich, and add 300 new manufacturing jobs at Ford's Aston Martin plant in Gaydon, also central England.
